Bernhard is an Austrian communications professional who divides his time between Austria and Shanghai. After studying in Innsbruck and New Orleans, he worked in public relations before founding his own communications agency specializing in international B2B media campaigns and social media management. In 2011, Bernhard began supporting Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset with media outreach, securing coverage in leading international running and outdoor magazines. His first trip to Lake Hovsgol (and his first marathon) proved to be a life-changing experience.  Since then, he has remained deeply involved with MS2S, contributing to its communication efforts, helping promote the race and its environmental projects, and joining the organizing team in 2013.
